U.S. Government Pays for "Piss Christ" Art

By David J. Stewart

In it tragic that our government is so irresponsible with tax-payer money.  While millions of American citizens are losing their homes, tens-of-millions are unemployed, and tens-of-thousands are homeless—our government spends recklessly...

"Piss Christ is a controversial photograph by American photographer Andres Serrano. It depicts a small plastic crucifix submerged in a glass of the artist's urine. The piece was a winner of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art's "Awards in the Visual Arts" competition, which is sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, a United States Government agency that offers support and funding for artistic projects."

The NEA (The National Endowment for the Arts) is of the Devil.  How can Americans sing "God Bless America," or boast "In God We Trust" in view of such wickedness?  Andres Serrano was paid $15,000 by the U.S. government for his blasphemous "art" titled "Piss Christ."  Why?  Clearly, the Devil is at work.

I agree with Phyllis Schlafly:

"Having a federal Ministry of Culture is bad enough, but forcing the taxpayers to finance one that is forbidden to observe standards of decency, is downright obscene."
