Mark 15:13-14, “And they cried out again, Crucify Him. Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath He done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify Him.”
I was thinking about this passage of Scripture today and it dawned on me
that abortionists treat little babies the same cruel way that the
unbelieving Jews treated Jesus.
Pilate told the Jews that he found no fault in Jesus, just as little babies are innocent and without any fault. Pilate sought for the life of Jesus, just as God-fearing Christians seek the life of little babies in the womb. Pilate made his appeal to the angry and determined mob, just as Christians make their appeal to the angry and determined mob of abortionists in America who are heartless. Pilate was unsuccessful in his attempt to save Jesus from the murderous frenzy of the cruel mob, just as Christians have been unsuccessful in saving the lives of tens-of-millions of precious children.
The angry mob wanted murder, they wanted Barabbas (a murderer according to Mark 15:7) to be free. They wanted Jesus, an innocent man, dead. Likewise, abortionists want innocent children dead. They cry out in defense of Barabbas (the guilty abortion doctor); but mercilessly want Jesus (innocent babies) dead.
Matthew 25:40, “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” When the abortionist kills a little baby, they might as well be murdering the Son of God. Just as the ungrateful and wicked Jews cried out, “CRUCIFY HIM!,” so do the abortionists today cry out, “CRUCIFY THEM.” There is NO difference.
The public had a choice to make between the guilty and the innocent. Were they going to choose Barabbas or Jesus? Were they going to defend the guilty or protect the innocent? The Jews chose to murder an innocent man. Today, nearly 2,000 years later, the public is once again faced with the same choice to make. Will you choose Barabbas or Jesus? Sadly, the American public has chosen to murder the innocent. They have chosen Barabbas, the murdering abortionist, instead of protecting the innocent children. Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill.”
It is hard to imagine why any group of people would want to see a murderer set free while an innocent man is executed. It was their choice. That's what the Jews wanted to happen. And yet in recent decades we have seen the same bloodthirsty mentality played out tens-of-millions of times, where innocent children are executed and murderous abortion doctors are honored members of society.
To do any harm to the “least of these” is to do it unto the Lord God Himself. Genesis 4:10, “And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.” The blood of tens-of-millions of America's children cry out to God from the grave. God asks America, “What hast thou done?”
