Revelation 22:12, “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
INTRODUCTION
This
is just a brief Biblical study on the subject of Rewards in Heaven.
Certainly, in view of the shortness of this life, and the endless length of
eternity, it would be wise to consider what the Bible has to say about
Rewards in Heaven. One may be surprised to learn that the Bible has much to
say concerning rewards. I think it is well worth the time and something that
every believer needs to seriously take to heart, because our eternal
happiness hangs in the balance.
This is not a study of salvation; but let me say right now, that if you are not a born-again Christian, then you will go to Hell, and the only reward you will receive is everlasting punishment in flaming fire (2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9).
For those of you who want to have
“an honest and good heart” as Luke 8:15 teaches, then you need to keep the
Scriptures and become a Soul Winner. Sadly, most believers today are “choked
with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to
perfection” (Luke 8:14). I don't want to be that kind of believer. Do you?
