My dad very rarely attended and later I realized why, He is a 33rd Mason. I said the same prayer at bedtime and once in a while prayed but my relationship with Jesus wasn't there. He always blessed me and answer my ME prayers. I had a dirty mouth with every other word being a cuss word, very proud, drank. You see i was a fighter pilot flying F-16's and about the most arrogant egotistically person alive. I was good, in fact one of the best in the world, i had it all power, success, money and pleasure but still had a empty feeling. Then at the age of 40 in my prime things started to fall apart--I got Parkinson's/Dementia and lost everything--job, money, power, pleasure. But that turned me to the word, after three months in bed--anxiety attacks and deep depression I gave total control to Jesus and told him I wanted to repent. My dirty mouth disappeared over night and now i have everything i have eternal life with Jesus. The last four years have been tough but they've been the best four years of my life. I'm retired and study the word a lot and participate in numerous church activities but the best thing is my best friend is Jesus. God Bless, PE Here to serve the Lord
