I once heard a man say that if you don't understand Revelation, read it through 25 times. Even if you don't read it 25 times in a row, read it a couple of times in a row. These short emails, with a scripture reference here and a scripture reference there are not enough. You CAN understand this for yourself, Christian Reader. Keep reading and you will find many more scriptures than what are listed here. They are not only in Revelation, Matthew, Luke, and II Thessalonians. You will find this truth all through the Bible. This is to help somebody get started. ************IS THE MAN OF SIN SIMPLY A SECULAR FIGURE?********************* As an unregenerate, I watched many horror movies. I'm confident that I picked up some devils as a result--the example I'm about to give is only to show the world's perspective on the beast. In one particular movie, a child had grown up to be the man of sin. As I recall, he became president of the United States (it's been a long time, I may not have all the details right). Anyway, he was an evil, ruthless, secular man. This is the same picture presented in Left Behind. Some secular monster that all good religious people can hate. I dare say that the vast majority of professed Christians think this way. This is a lie of the devil. Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, new agers, church hypocrites, etc. are all antichrist themselves-- they cannot be against antichrist. They are in the same system as antichrist. They have the same spirit... It is not a question of some mean looking SECULAR world dictator. This person/system is religious. With the man of sin, it is not a question of tyrannical rule. It is a... ****************A QUESTION OF WORSHIP**************** Read these scriptures carefully and see that the man of sin wants to be, and is, WORSHIPPED. He is not only AGAINST God, but he also wants to take the PLACE of God. "Anti" means both "against" AND "in place of". He is BOTH-- II Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that MAN OF SIN be revealed, the son of perdition; 2:4 Who OPPOSETH AND EXALTETH HIMSELF above all that is called God, or that is *WORSHIPPED*; SO THAT HE AS GOD SITTETH IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SHEWING HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD. Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and ALL THE WORLD WONDERED AFTER THE BEAST. 13:4 And they *WORSHIPPED* the dragon [the devil] which gave power unto the beast: AND THEY *WORSHIPPED* THE BEAST, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and BLASPHEMIES; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 13:6 And HE OPENED HIS MOUTH IN BLASPHEMY AGAINST GOD, TO BLASPHEME HIS NAME, and HIS TABERNACLE, AND THEM THAT DWELL IN HEAVEN. This man will be WORSHIPPED. It is not a question of a scary secular tyrant like in the horror movies and "Left Behind" and various commentaries. This is a lie of the devil. People looking for something that is not it. The beast is going to be WORSHIPPED. And every church hypocrite will worship him--even if they are looking for his mark. "How do you know?" Revelation 13:8 And *ALL* that dwell upon the earth shall WORSHIP him, WHOSE NAME ARE NOT WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE OF THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. ALL who are not in the Book of Life will worship him--atheists will worship him, Buddhists will worship him, ungodly pastors and "laypersons" will worship him (whether Methodist, rabid Calvinist, Baptist, Wesleyan, COGIC, Pentecostal, etc.), papists will worship him, self-righteous hypocrite Pharisees will worship him, Muslims, Seventh Day Adventists, Mormons, new agers, witches, Satanists, church hypocrites, etc. EVERYBODY THAT IS NOT SAVED WILL WORSHIP HIM. The Bible says so. Look at Revelation 13:8 again. ...*ALL* that dwell upon the earth SHALL *WORSHIP* HIM, whose names are not written in the book of life... Revelation 13:8 These last days have EVERYTHING to do with WORSHIPPING the son of perdition. WORSHIP, v.t. 1. To ADORE; to pay divine honors to; to reverence with SUPREME RESPECT respect and veneration. 2. To respect; TO HONOR; to treat with CIVIL REVERENCE. 3. To honor with extravagant love and extreme submission; as a lover. WORSHIPER, n. One who worships; one who pays divine honors to any being; one who adores. WORSHIPING, ppr. ...treating with EXTREME SUBMISSION. You don't have to bow down and kiss some tree roots to be a worshipper. You don't have to play with tarot cards or draw a pentagram on your living room floor. Just start adoring and reverencing a man or a system. Many professed Christians keep up with all the latest news, love politics, love hellivision, know everything about the movie "stars" (liars, sorcerers and witches who work magic on their audience), etc. THEY ARE ALREADY IN THE SYSTEM AND DON'T EVEN KNOW IT. ****************What will happen to real Christians?************** Revelation 13:7 And IT WAS GIVEN UNTO HIM TO MAKE WAR WITH THE SAINTS, AND TO OVERCOME THEM: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. They will die. Revelation 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, AND CAUSE THAT AS MANY AS WOULD NOT WORSHIP THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST SHOULD BE KILLED. Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, THAT SHOULD BE KILLED AS THEY WERE, should be fulfilled. Times will be so rough and the brethren will want to see Jesus so bad--but they won't see Him. The devil will combine this desire to see the Lord with the manifestation of FALSE PROPHETS AND FALSE CHRISTS. King Jesus IS WARNING US ABOUT THIS. DESIRE: Luke 17:22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when YE SHALL DESIRE to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. DEVIL'S OFFERING OF A FALSE TO MEET THE DESIRE: Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. These passages are NOT taken out of context See Matthew 24:3-51 and Luke 17:20-37. They are talking about the end times. Aside: Many dispensationalists will tell you Matthew is for the Jews. Don't listen to that lie. ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD. Don't let anyone take the word from you. YOU NEED IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BELIEVE IT. *****************WHAT ABOUT CHURCH HYPOCRITES AND OTHER EVIL WORKERS?*********** All the people that do not love the truth of God's word will be eating and drinking and giving in marriage. Partying back-- Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 17:32 Remember Lot's wife. 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. Every big time teacher I know of preaches the secret rapture. I don't read that in the Bible. This time of tribulation will be a time of separating. The wheat from the tares, sheep from goats, wheat from the chaff. We are talking about the get down. Where the rubber meets the road. When everything is smooth, everybody looks clean cut and righteous. But when it comes to blood, WHO shall stand? Not many, cause not many are serious. Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless WHEN THE SON OF MAN COMETH, SHALL HE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH? The ones that stand will be following THE WORD THAT JESUS SPOKE-- Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. These last days are a needful time of separation. Now is the time for Christian people to understand Psalms 149:6-9 LET THE HIGH PRAISES OF GOD BE IN THEIR MOUTH, AND A TWO-EDGED SWORD IN THEIR HAND; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD. We need both--the high praises of God in our mouth and a two-edged sword in our hand--the word of God. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. It's not talking about a knife and a machine gun. It is talking about the word. We need to be adept in the word. Professed Christians studying Psychology, giving children Ritalin, going to the amusement parks, eating fried chicken, drinking lemonade, having Game Nights, and have no word abiding in them. The part they think they know is in their head but it has not been ignited by the Holy Ghost. But when it is, you understand that the high praises of God and the word of God are friends to our most holy faith. The more we consider and speak of the excellency of God, the more courageous we are because we know He is great. The more we speak His word and see people delivered the more praises we send up to Him for His delivering power. When this Psalm says we execute vengeance and bind up with chains and fetters of iron, it is talking about the word. The word we speak binds, busts up lies, busts up shackles that had people bound, it frees and it also tells them of the impending judgment of God. God's word is like a HAMMER that breaketh the rock in pieces as saith Jeremiah. It is only the people in the word who are watching unto prayer that won't go along with the system. They will see it for what it is--and condemn it. Everybody sitting down relaxing with Oprah Winfrey and calling themself a Christian needs to get down on their knees and REPENT and CUT IT OFF. The professed church has been lulled into a fat, dumb and happy sleep. Unfortunately, when many wake up, their nightmare in hell will begin. ***************HOW WILL THE DEVIL GET PEOPLE TO WORSHIP HIM?************** How will the devil get people to worship him and the beast? There is one key word for you to know-- deception. That's the vehicle to take men to worship the devil and the beast. Should the Lord allow me to do another email, we'll put the scriptures to it.
