This first email does not seem like it has much to do with "Deception"; however, it lays foundational work for the emails to come. It needs to be stated at the outset that it is not the purpose of these "Deception" emails to identify the man of sin, his mark, etc. but rather to help us to "think outside the box" concerning him, his reign, his mark, etc.--and even concerning ourselves and our walk with the Lord in these last and evil days. *************THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX?*************** This is a term oftentimes used in business. I'll explain... Sometimes in business, company processes have been done the same way for so long that the people just assume that they are doing things the best way that they can be done. They've constructed a box of knowledge and they just live inside of it NEVER THINKING there could be a better way. Here's an illustration.. I once worked for a federal contractor that was about to default on one of their lucrative contracts. That means that the government was about to kick them off the contract for non-performance of the work. It's not like they were doing nothing. They had workers on the job site and the workers were working, but they were not churning out the work in accordance with the terms of the contract. When I came to the company, I was asked to try to straighten things out. I went to the worksite and after looking at how they did things, it was readily apparent where the bottlenecks and inefficiencies were. Changes were made and they were subsequently able to get the work done efficiently and on time. In fact, they even won the contract again. *************CHURCH PEOPLE TRAPPED IN THE BOX********** The people on that contract had determined one way to do things, but it was not the best way and it was not working. Even when they were in danger of default, they still could not think outside of the box they had constructed. They knew they were in trouble but they kept on doing the same ineffective things that they always did. Church people are no different. They keep listening to the same ol' lame, tired, false teachers and they are floundering. In the case of the professed church, we have been passing along the same ol' traditions, false doctrines, and misinformation for so long, that we just accept what we've learned as being true. If somebody questions what has been passed down to us, we deem them a heretick--not because we have searched the scriptures for ourselves but because they are speaking contrary to our traditions. We need to think outside the box of tradition and false teaching. We need to diligently study the word for ourselves and let the Holy Ghost teach us what the truth is instead of relying on man-- 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, AND YE NEED NOT THAT ANY MAN TEACH YOU: BUT AS THE SAME ANOINTING TEACHETH YOU OF ALL THINGS, AND IS TRUTH, AND IS NO LIE, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Because they've stayed in the box of tradition, church people are not growing in the Lord and in the POWER of His might. They are not strong and the word of God does not abide in them. They don't dream dreams, they don't see visions, They don't prophesy. They don't have the power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. They don't even know what these things mean. King Jesus said that "nothing shall by any means hurt you" but church people walk around hurt all the time and unable to overcome sin. In fact, they are overcome instead of being overcomers. They look longingly at the world like a jailed up wimpering dog that wants to be set free. That is a real shame! The word of God is blasphemed through them and their works. We look so pitiful. Just go to church and wish we could be like the world. Church people don't even know what King Jesus meant when He said that He came that we might have life and that MORE ABUNDANTLY. The Bible is the contract and many are in danger of default. We need to go read the terms of the contract for ourselves and stop taking everybody else's word for what it says. The professed church needs some serious 911. All those who are powerless NEED to say, "What I'm doing ain't workin'!" and, "Lord, please show me a better way!" But alas, they are like the people on that contract. They just stay inside the same ol' box going no where fast. I think of a little rat running around on a ratwheel. Running and running but going nowhere, just going around in circles. There is activity, but they aren't making any ground. They may be on the newsletter committee, the hospitality committee, the choir, the Sunday School staff, groundskeeping ministry, usher board, etc. They may the chair of the Women's Missionary Society and the Vacation Bible School but they ain't got no power. Just 'cause you are on a "ministry" don't mean you are approved of God. Did you know that the flesh has energy? The flesh can pray. The flesh can hold a church service and sing hymns. A lot of what is going on in churches is pure flesh. A lot of things called a "ministry" is not a ministry. God didn't tell the person to do it. It was flesh. Some churches have "step ministries". You know the stepping that fraternities do on college campuses? They are bringing that into the church. God didn't tell them to do that. They made that up. That was flesh. Ain't nothing wrong with a newsletter but many church newsletters ain't no real ministry. It is a gossip fest or a social calendar. A ministry is going to lift up the name and doctrine of Jesus Christ. I knew a woman who testified that she had been a Methodist Sunday School teacher for 20 years and WAS NOT SAVED. The flesh has energy and it can imitate all religious activity. The fleshly man may think you are just great, but the spiritual man knows the difference between flesh and Spirit. When the Spirit of God is filling got POWER to project the cause of Jesus Christ. THEN you are an ANOINTED Sunday School teacher. I don't want to just be a teacher, I want to be an ANOINTED teacher. That is why I read God's word, pray God's word, obey God's word, speak God's word, talk about God's word, meditate on God's word--AND SHUN THE WORLD. When we do these things, we will get power of the Holy Ghost. In turn, He gives us the POWER to project the cause of Jesus Christ and to be able to discern a matter. What is missing in most Christian lives is the POWER of the Holy Ghost. Zechariah ...Not by might, nor by power, BUT BY MY SPIRIT, saith the LORD of hosts. We need to be filled with God's Spirit. We need to ask God to fill us with His Spirit-- Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit TO THEM THAT ASK HIM? It seems to me somebody could have told me this when I first got saved. There is a breach and a obscuring of gospel truths. The lawyers (today's pastors, teachers, etc.) that SHOULD have the key of knowledge have taken it away and replaced it in many cases with foolish talk and jesting. Luke 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. We are in some times here! Anybody who is not serious about the Lord is going to be carried away in a torrent of deception. We need to be filled with the Holy Ghost. ***************THE HOLY GHOST**************** Two different people can share the gospel of Jesus Christ. That He died, was buried and rose again the third day. They can both say the same words. What makes the difference is the anointing of the Holy Ghost. The charismatics have subverted so many souls with their false teachings concerning the work of the Holy Ghost. In this section, we'll examine one office of the Holy Ghost--giving us power to witness. In Luke 24, before the Lord Jesus ascended into heaven, He told the disciples that they would be witnesses of Him. But he told them to go tarry (wait) in Jerusalem until they were ENDUED with POWER from on high. There was something that they needed besides their own mindset in order to tell others about Jesus. They needed the Holy Ghost who is the POWER of the Highest (Lu 1:35) to witness-- Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 24:48 And ye are WITNESSES of these things. 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: BUT TARRY ye in the city of Jerusalem, UNTIL YE BE ENDUED WITH *POWER* FROM ON HIGH. Don't go running off until you get POWER. Let's keep looking at this CRITICAL doctrine. Charismatics sit in church with everybody babbling in their so-called tongues to show that they are spiritual. That is unbiblical (see I Cor 14). The Holy Ghost came to give us power to witness of King Jesus-- Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive *POWER*, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: AND (YE SHALL BE WITNESSES UNTO ME* both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. *******************HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST?************* The charismatics claim that you have to speak in tongues to demonstrate that you have the Holy Ghost. Others think that you have to have some kind of supernatural experience to show evidence that you have been filled with Him. BUT THE BIBLE TEACHES that somebody filled with the Holy Ghost IS GOING TO TESTIFY OF JESUS. John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME: 15:27 And ye also shall bear WITNESS, because ye have been with me from the beginning. People talk about "I've got the Holy Ghost" but I don't hear no Jesus coming from their lips. Impossible. The Holy Ghost does not speak of Himself (John 16:13). He testifies of Jesus Christ (John 15:26) and glorifies Him (John 16:14). So if a supposedly Spirit-filled person ain't lifting up Jesus, He ain't Spirit-filled-- John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 16:14 HE SHALL GLORIFY ME: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME: 1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 4:14 And we have seen and do TESTIFY that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. Can you see the pattern of the Holy Ghost and testifying and witnessing of Jesus Christ? Charismatics say that you have the filling of the Holy Ghost when you give the evidence of speaking in tongues. No, you have the evidence when you are testifying of Jesus, living a holy life, and manifesting the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25)! The Holy Ghost will make you HOLY. That's why God says to us, "Be ye holy, for I am holy". I can't do that on my own. I'm a wretch undone. It is only by the POWER of the Holy Ghost that I can fulfill that command. ****************YOU *CAN* UNDERSTAND**************** Revelation and the end times always seemed so complex to me. I figured that I could not possibly understand it on my own. I therefore looked for a teacher. That is a spiritual and natural thing to do. But in today's world, you can't hardly find no good teacher. Don't despair. King Jesus is your Shepherd and He will help you. Just ask Him. One day, I was trying to figure out what book of the Bible I was going to read next (aside: many Christians just flip to a passage to read for the day or they just look at "The Daily Bread" and read whatever is there. That will NEVER do. We got to read WHOLE books to understand the flow. In time, you won't just understand basic accounts, you will see the relationship between chapters, verses, books, and the whole Bible. You will increase in the wisdom of God. Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom. And with all thy getting, get understanding (Proverbs))... Anyway, I was trying to figure out what to read next and I went to Revelation. I stopped at the title. "The Revelation of Jesus Christ. Revelation. Mmmm. To reveal something." I looked up "revelation" in the Webster's 1828, "the act of DISCLOSING OR DISCOVERING to others what was before UNKNOWN to them." I was like "Wait a minute. Revelation is to REVEAL to me something previously unknown. If you ask most Christians what is the most confusing book in the Bible, they will tell you Revelation. But Revelation was given to us to REVEAL. How Satanic that the book to reveal is the greatest mystery to us." Then I looked down at Revelation 1:1 that confirmed these thoughts-- Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, TO SHEW UNTO HIS SERVANTS things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: God did not send Revelation to confuse me. He sent it to REVEAL THE THINGS OF JESUS to me. Many Bibles have the title to this book as "The Revelation of Saint John the Divine". But that is not true. Revelation 1:1 says The Revelation of Jesus Christ. As I thought on these things another thought came to me, "I can understand anything in this Booke." It came strong just like that. Instead of me continuing with Revelation, I went back to Ezekiel to read it--about all them eyes and wheels and cherubim and things. And the Lord showed up to help my understanding. I have not been the same since. That was around September of 2000. Gentle, Christian Reader, you CAN understand Revelation and the Bible. Keep gazing at these things and considering them. If you will follow on to know the Lord, He will reveal to you the deep and secret things. Proverbs 3:32 For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but HIS SECRET IS WITH THE RIGHTEOUS. The more you are obedient and holy, the more you will know. ***************OTHERS CAN NOT UNDERSTAND************* On the other hand.... Gentle, unsaved/hellbound/reprobate/unholy/wicked/unregenerate reader you CAN NOT understand. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth NOT the things of the Spirit of God: for they are FOOLISHNESS unto him: NEITHER CAN HE KNOW THEM, because they are spiritually discerned. I don't know why hellbounds sign up for this list but they do it all the time. It is clear who is invited. Then they got the nerve to complain about something written. You can't understand this. In fact, it is some foolishness to you. Ain't no use in me trying to explain it to you because YOU CAN NOT KNOW THIS INFORMATION. It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to understand because these things are spiritually discerned--and your spirit is dead. As dead as a doorknob. You are DEAD in trespasses and sins. You ain't been resurrected from the dead. In these emails, I am talking about things pertaining to life and you dead. My grandmama died several years ago and she cannot come to my house and feast with me. She is dead in the graveyard somewhere. Likewise, my dead, unregenerate friends on this list can't feast on the word with me, because they are dead. The living dead. God don't even hear your prayers if you got the nerve to send them up. The only thing He will hear from you is "I repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ". God even hates the way you think-- Proverbs 15:26 THE THOUGHTS OF THE WICKED ARE AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. God even hates the prayers of an unholy, wicked man-- Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, EVEN HIS PRAYER SHALL BE ABOMINATION. Proverbs 15:29 The LORD is FAR from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous. If you wicked, and won't bow the knee to King Jesus, no use in you trying to serve God in no aspect. Even your best offering is a hated thing-- Proverbs 21:27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind? These words to the unbelieving wicked also apply to church hypocrites. The Lord Jesus puts them in the same category. In speaking of the hypocrite, the Lord Jesus said, Luke 12:46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will APPOINT HIM HIS PORTION WITH THE UNBELIEVERS. **************CONCLUSION**************** May all Christian people purpose to go up a little higher in the service of the Lord. May we be open to the truth, watching unto prayer even in the midst of this evil and perverse generations. There are maniac-wildanimal-killers on the loose all over America. The street got marauding lions and hyenas ready to bust you up side your head. Universities are teaching impressionable students the most Satanic information--so wicked we cannot fathom the depths of it. The world is run by principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. If you don't have power, you will be nervous everyday. The devil wants you off balance and not knowing the power of the Lord. Jesus did not die for that. He DESTROYED the works of the devil on Calvary-- 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. FOR THIS PURPOSE the Son of God was manifested, that he might DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL. Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might DESTROY HIM that had the power of death, that is, the devil; If you live holy and let these truths sink down into your spirit and you won't be a scared chicken. You'll walk in wisdom. Then the testimony of Daniel 11 will be yours-- Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: BUT THE PEOPLE THAT DO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE *STRONG*, AND DO EXPLOITS. 11:33 AND THEY THAT UNDERSTAND AMONG THE PEOPLE SHALL INSTRUCT MANY: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. You'll fight even if you have to die.
