Dear Tracy,
Yes, you did respond to me, and I thank you for responing once more! I have
been baptized, dunked! This was three weeks ago this Sunday! I had gone to
this little church, and was so moved by the Holy Spirit, that I came down
and really confessed mys sins, renounced Satan and all his works, and got
dunked right then and there...strike while the iron is hot! All I can say,
is what a wonderful, awesome experience! I am now going to a Christian
Fellowship, wherein we simply follow the bible! It is such a beautiful
feeling, I might tell you. Course you already know the feeling that the
Holy Spirit gives us all.
And, yes, I have gotten rid of all witchcraft/new-age stuff! Even ALL my
old drawings! So, I am truly starting out with a clean slate.
As to the allure, well, for me, it was many things, I guess. Let's see.
First of all, it is goddess-based (at least mine was), and I liked the idea
of a feminine spirituality. Then, being a rather solitary individual (only
child for 10 years), witchcraft can be just that. It can be anything one
likes. Simply "bend it" to your will. It gives one (rather for myself) a
sort of "special" feeling, that of being "superior" somehow, because I could
conjure and spell cast. It was nature-based/moon phases and that sort of
thing, all so relatively non-evil. Or so I thought. But all the while,
there is a huge "hole" of emptiness and being too solitary. No one to
relate to, or share with really. But still, it's that feeling of
"superiority" of not needing anything else in your life except yourself, the
"goddess within". Well, I've done that long enough, done things on my own,
and it hasn't really worked out too well. Now that I know I have Jesus with
me, I am never alone! It's the most fulfilling I've ever been in my life!
I really appreciate your concern and prayers, thank you!
